This Video is a complete step by step \”How To\” guide which goes through the design considerations, building from start to finish and shows you how to turn an ATX PC power supply in a DC bench power supply with 3.3V, 5V \u0026 12V outputs!
First I plan my design on paper making a note of all of the holes I need to cut and drill.
Then I check the layout of the PSU to make sure I can fit everything I want in there!
Then I drill and cut all necessary holes for LED’s \u0026 power outputs \u0026 switches.
Then I fit all of the chosen hardware into my PSU’s casing.
REMOVE 2 CATS \u0026 A DEAD BIRD FROM THE ROOM!
Then wire it all up taking as many precautions as possible to make this DC supply safe!
End up doing a bit of troubleshooting when niggling little things don’t work as planned.
And then test and demonstrate my new DC bench supply
This DC Supply has short circuit protection \u0026 will output at up to 35Amps! Far more current than
a DC bench supply that you could go out and buy!

A power supply is an electronic device that supplies electric energy to an electrical load.
