YOW Meraki SurfSkate Review: Worth All the Hype?

Many of my favourite SurfSkaters use YOW (Your Own Wave) SurfSkates. I also asked the experts over at ShredShack about the one SurfSkate they would save if they could only rescue only one from the shack, and they picked the YOW. So much hype about these SurfSkates, but they were near impossible to get here in Canada aside from getting one shipped from Spain in the very rare times they had any in stock! When I got a notice that 4 models were in stock, I made the impulse decision to fork out a substantial chunk of change to get one shipped here.
I put this board through some thorough testing in all kinds of terrain to give you guys the best review possible, because it is a big decision to spend almost $500 after international shipping and tariffs for a board that might take 6 weeks to arrive.
