update: I have successfully unlocked the 4th core and tested it for 8 hours on prime 95 with no errors. an excellent bargain. also temps with stock cooling are 32C at idle and 56C at full load on 4 cores using arctic silver 5.

Unlocking AMD Athlon II x3 450 CPU to AMD Phenom II x4 B50
Successfully unlocked the 4 cores in my old Athlon X3 processor with Stock Clocks and Stock Voltages in my N68S3 UCC Motherboard… 450Watt PSU and with Stock Cooler i get about 50 degrees without gaming… If i load any game it goes up to 7080… Runs stable, no bsods, everything is much smoother now^^
